Use it when: You cancelled in writing and were billed anyway.
The template
I cancelled my [membership/subscription] with [business] on [date] via [method], and I have [confirmation email / certified mail receipt / screenshot]. I was charged $[amount] on [date], and again on [date]. That is $[total] after cancellation. I contacted them on [date] and was told [summary]. If you sign up here, keep written proof of your cancellation. You will need it. — [Your name], customer since [date]
What to swap in
- The method of cancellation — name it exactly, that detail is what makes the review credible
What gets it deleted
- Posting card numbers or partial card numbers
- Naming the support agent
